Glenrands Jaguar Land Rover Approved Repairer – Integrated Terms and Conditions

  • "Estimate": Refers to the written quotation provided by the Company outlining the scope of work and associated costs.

2.1. By using our services, whether through our website or at our facility, you agree to these T&Cs.

2.2. We are a Jaguar Land Rover Approved Repairer, committed to upholding the standards and quality of the JLR brand.

3. Website Use

3.1. Website Content: All content on the Website, including text, images, logos, and trademarks, is owned by Glenrands Ltd or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

4. Online Bookings & Service Requests

4.3. We are not bound to any specific service requests or prices displayed online until a formal Estimate is provided and accepted.

4.4 Glenrands reserves the right to cancel any appointment at any time.

5. Estimates & Services

5.1. Estimates: We will provide a written estimate for all work, which is valid for [e.g., 30 days]. Additional work will require your authorisation.

5.2. Genuine Parts: We use genuine JLR parts to ensure the integrity of your vehicle, unless otherwise requested in writing.

6. Payment

6.4 We may exercise a lien against any Vehicles that remain uncollected or invoices that remain unpaid.

7. Warranty

7.2. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, misuse, or external damage.

7.3. Any pre-existing damage may void this agreement.

8. Customer Responsibilities

8.2. Please remove personal belongings before leaving the Vehicle. We are not liable for loss or damage to personal items left in the vehicle.

8.3. You are responsible for collecting the vehicle as soon as we confirm the work is complete.

9. Limitation of Liability

9.1. We are only liable for direct loss or damage resulting from our negligence, up to the value of the Services provided.

9.2. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as loss of profits or business interruption.

9.3. Nothing in these T&Cs excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

9.4 If we fail to comply with these Terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking this contract or our failing to use reasonable care and skill, but we are not responsible for any loss or damage that is not foreseeable. Loss or damage is foreseeable if either it is obvious that it will happen or if, at the time the contract was made, both we and you knew it might happen, for example, if you discussed it with us during the sales process.

14. JLR Standards & Approved Repairer Status

We are a JLR Approved Repairer. This relationship and our obligations under it are subject to the prevailing terms and conditions as stipulated by JLR and any amendments made from time to time.
