Our Evoque has been juddering for a couple of months now, after visits to main... dealers and other garages the only thing I got told is that it would be clutch and flywheel. The vehicle was in with Glenrands for an hour until they found the fault.. front 2 driveshafts! Glad I didn’t go ahead and waste money doing clutch first. I had an excellent first experience at Glenrands, dealing mainly with Ross. I took my LR Defender TD5 in to have some... work done on the transmission, new suspension and a few other repairs done. I found the service to be first rate, including the provision of a loan car and delivery of my vehicle once the work was complete. The people are real enthusiasts, very experienced and offered me some great advice when I was considering a new suspension kit. An excellent team. We have been using Glenrands for a while now and they have always been polite, courteous and most... of all honest. Today we had a serious prop shaft failure and limped in to the workshop. Fault was diagnosed, quoted for and fully repaired in under two hours. The car is back on the road. What a service I’ve had from the folks at Glenrands! Honestly night and day compared to what I’d get from the main... dealer who I’d been going to previously.Highly communicative and the work was reasonably priced and completed to an exceptionally high standard. I even had a comment on the work from a tyre fitter saying it didn’t look quite right and Glenrands sent an engineer to my address (1hr away!) to check it over and make sure it was all safe (which is was, the tyre fitters were just unfamiliar with Land Rovers).Honestly above and beyond from these folks, to steal Land Rover’s own slogan!read more

Superb service! I highly recommend the team at Glenrands Land Rover.I'd had an issue with my Range Rover Sport (HSE... 2011) for well over a year and had been researching how to fix it. Ross and the team offer to help.Although Glenrands are 3hrs/130 miles away from me, I felt it was worth the trip. And it really was.They provided me a courtesy car while they investigated and also ran a health check on the vehicle, with Ross keeping me fully informed all the way though. After a lot of effort, the team got to the bottom of the issue and during the health check also found an unrelated serious problem elsewhere (providing me with a video showing me the concern).After talking me through everything, I authorised the work and everything was done efficiently - with a couple of little extras thrown in too.The car was ready when agreed, spotlessly clean as they had valeted it inside and out and just perfect!A great experience, skilful and knowledgeable engineers, overall excellent friendly service which allowed me to fall back in love with my old Range Rover. If you’re reading these reviews like I was and thinking maybe they sound too good to be true, you won’t be disappointed!Ross and his team are nothing short of fantastic. My air conditioning was not working effectively on my Range Rover Sport and I wanted to try a specialist garage as I... have not been happy with the service from local main dealers. They made the whole experience so easy for me collecting my car and being very professional in all communication. Not only did they fix my air conditioning they also found another fault and contacted Range Rover warranty to get it approved. So when Ross rang me with the update I was so impressed with this level of service, they went above and beyond my expectations. It’s so refreshing to meet a team that genuinely care about the customer experience and that I trust with my vehicles 100%.Home collection and drop off, comprehensive diagnostics and photos of work in progress. Fixing the air bag light that 3 main dealers couldn’t fix. Straightening the steering wheel and correcting the 4 wheel alignment on my Defender, identifying and fixing the annoying rattles and squeaks, where everyone else failed - I could go on, but safe to say that Ross and the team will be looking after my vehicles from now on. Absolutely incredible, Ross and the team have something special here.With out question the service is fantastic.... That's what I found myself and from reading others reviews it's clearly routine, brilliant.What has struck me besides the customer service, is the workmanship and knowledge.No dirty hands, clean gloves put on before anything is touched. Seats covered regardless, bonnet skirt fitted before any work takes place. Floor and working area is tidy.Specifications are known and followed regarding all work carried out, torque figures are adhered to .....this place works correctly.Communication is fantastic, I'm reasonably savvy and can converse regarding mechanical issues however my wife is not but the way Ross explains and takes time, there is no feeling stupid or doubt.The whole experience if frankly first class, a breath of fresh air. I just don't think any other garage comes close.read more

Absolutely incredible service! My car was collected from my house and during the time it was being repaired I was sent... text messages informing me what was wrong and when parts were coming in so I could expect when to get the car back. Ross at Glenrands has been fitting new Timing Chains/Tensioners and other odds and ends to my RR 5litre Supercharged... "My pride and Joy". Before finding Glenrands I asked my usual RR Specialist, they couldn't do the job!! I found one independent Mechanic that offered his services and being the sole mechanic of his business he came in cheapest. I then got in contact with Ross and immediately trusted him and I have never trusted a Mechanic! Unbelievable service, Communication and even empathy knowing I am struggling with the current Covid situation. Ross will be the only person working on my car from now on.read more
